(More customer reviews)I bought this hammock on amazon so that i had a comfortable shelter for backpacking.I gave it only four stars because my hammock came with a small hole in it in the storage area not worth sending bck i just patched myself it was not in a vital area. Second, it is very narrow in the very center where my waist sits on the hammock its just wide enough to support me but the rest of the hammock is very roomy. Also, it is a bit more pricy than the usual gear i take backpacking. Lastly it is hard to get in and out. First you have to take down the window cover, then you unzip the screen, stick your arm out the screen, reach down and feel around for the velcro at the head and toe, then yay, your finally out!
Now The Good Stuff.
Wow is this thing comfortable! Lots of above head storage space. Very Easy to put up/tear down. I don't see how it would be possible for rain to get it this thing, wonderful rain proof design. every single seam is very nicely taped, even the seams underneath you. nice quality workmanship, you do lay suprisingly flat, and yes side sleep is very possible.
