(More customer reviews)I bought this tent for backpacking. It weighs a little over 5 lbs, and is very small. The first time I used it temperatures got in the low 40s, and with a 30+ sleeping bag I was fine. The outer cover doesn't form a seal around the tent, so it can be drafty at times. I'm 6'4 and I fit very well in the tent, it says it's 2 person but it would be crowded, and there would be no room for gear in the tent with two people. You can buy the 'footprint' which is just the bottom part of the tent, which you can use with the outer shell and poles to make a lightweight shelter (but only if it isn't going to rain.)

It comes in a sack, but it isn't a compression sack. I bought an 11 liter compression sack and it fits perfectly inside, and reduces the size significantly.

Be sure to look up how to assemble the tent before you take it camping. The outer shell is complicated to get on.
